Useful Dog training

In this class you will learn how to teach your dog practical training for everyday use when you are out with your dog and for living with your dog, and how to apply the training to other places.

We will do the following and more.

• Walking on a loose lead

• Not jumping up at a person or on a worktop etc.

• Teaching the dog an 'off" que for removing the dog off a bed/chair.

• To leave an item, food, rubbish, a cat, another dog, a person…

• Settle on a mat.

• Come back when called.

• Walk nicely through a gate, door or style.

• Teaching an easy scent game.

• Preventing common problems.

The course will include the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme for those who would like to do that. It gives you a chance to gain a nationally recognized award for dog training to a good standard.

No excessively barkie dogs and all dogs must be good with people and dogs.
